Airport Transfers

Domestic Transfer: travel to and from the resort is always by the best possible route to the Haa Alifu region for our guests on the day of their arrival. Transfers to and from Male’ (Velana International Airport) are generally by Domestic Transfer as it offers the most frequent routing and flexibility with the International arrival patterns. Seaplane transfers may also be used at the resort’s discretion on the day of travel should the routing be optimal and there be availability. Guests are reminded that all Internal Maldives Transfers are required to be booked for you by the Resort and we will choose the optimal available mode/route into the Atoll.

Domestic Transfer Schedule:

Scheduled Domestic Airline transfers from Male' (Velana International Airport) Domestic Terminal to Hanimaadhoo Domestic Airport in Haa Alifu Atoll (60 minutes approx.) is followed by a 45-minutes (approx.) transfer by speedboat to JA Manafaru Private Island. Aircraft and schedule is operated by a third party and schedule is subject to carriers route and timings on the day of boarding. Carrier Lounge access is provided for guests on arrival into Male' and departure from Hanimaadhoo.

Notes: Domestic transfers are generally the optimal carrier used due to the availability and frequency of routes into the atoll. Seaplane will only be reserved at the resorts discretion on the day, as needed. Please note, should onward flights not be available an overnight stay in Male' Atoll will be required at the guests own cost.
Luggage Allowance: adult/child = 20 kg luggage + 5 kg hand Luggage. Infant, part of parental allowance. Additional direct charges by the carrier may apply for luggage over the allowed weight limit and all Third Party Operators priority is to transfer
guests to their destinations rather than luggage. Heavy luggage may be offloaded and sent on the next available transfer. Please note this may not be on the same day of travel and airlines decision is final in relation to all flight movements.
